Baphomet statue appears at Arkansas state capitol

The comments of the counterprotesters tell you everything you need to know about those who are against separation of church and state. They neither believe in freedom of religion nor freedom of speech.

<GRIN> . I posted this yesterday as well! Great minds think alike!

Looks like this came about as a reaction to a previous "freedom of speech" issue to erm.... the 10 commandments

"Members of the Satanic Temple used a statue of the occult deity Baphomet to protest a Ten Commandments monument in Little Rock, Ark."

    http://time.com/5370989/satanic-temple-arkansas/

The Satanic Temple placed the bronze statue at the capitol during a First Amendment protest on Thursday, while calling for the removal of a Ten Commandments monument permanently mounted on Capitol grounds.

But like yourselves ...atheists were all-for the bronze goat in joint protest against the 10 C's.

You didn't actually address their argument.

If you allow symbols from one religion on gov't property, you have to include all the others, or else you are using the government to promote one religion over all the others, which is the exact opposite of freedom of religion.

I was adressing your OP e.g. As there was the headline in the context : "calling for the removal of the Ten Commandments".

"you have to include all the others"
Yes you're right here to be fair . Personally imo (seeing how problematic this is if otherwise) it would be best that there'd be no religious monuments in such public places so no-one should be offended. Not to mean : to include as they are ; churches ,temples etc. is on their designated property /hallowed ground if you will.

And if you read the article, or were remotely familiar with TST, you would know that that is their goal.

Good to know you're on the same page as the Satanists, isn't it?
