Everyone has their own instincts. Yeah, the theme park deal with Sno Cones and rides is one way. I'm sure the kids will always remember it. But I'd rather inspire a different need in kids -- the hunger to see some big landscapes. Utah has some canyon parks that will never leave you, once you see them. Stand at Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon and tell me you'll forget it. Or take the brood up to Mount Rushmore and take in Custer Park, the Crazy Horse mountain carving, and a sunset drive in the Badlands, south of Wall Drug. Your heads will be filled with more colors and gigantic formations than you can process. End of speech.
