    I did not say situations were identical. What I said is that this assassination was an assassination of an Islamist militant and thus not really a big deal compared to Russia taking out journalists and opposition politicians.
    The war was lost by the Chechen rebels in 2000 and hasn't had any activity all in ten years. This was on a city street in Berlin in broad daylight. How anyone can defend this is beyond me. I suspect you are doing so since he was Muslim.
    No activity at all?? You're forgetting Chechen terrorism. They probably figure he was involved.
