    A bit at a time.

    Camel driver hoping for a customer;

    Tanks and armoured cars parked outside Cairo museum, taken using my phone camera dangling casually at my side because taking photos is forbidden;

    Cairo from Muhammad Ali Mosque, and the Mosque itself:

    DBT, do you have some from the main pyramid(Cheops), close-ups, from the steps, inside, etc?

    Also people that called your attention in your trips?

    Great stuff!

    Couldn't do much because cameras are not allowed in the pyramids. Not very good, but still took a few shots with the phone camera. The lighting in the Kings chamber was too low and the phone flash too weak for photos. I have some film photos from other trips but haven't digitized them yet.

    This is the first small ascending passage, no head room, you bend over nearly double to get to the Grand Gallery.

    The Grand Gallery leading to the Kings Chamber, which is through the small opening at the top, a sort of antechamber.

    The Great Pyramid viewing from the Architects tomb.

    Camel and horse rides.

    Not supposed to climb onto the monuments, some visitors having no hesitation clambering over everything,

    Just around the corner is Talaat Harb street, just after sunset:

    Portsmouth dockyard as viewed from the roof of Admiralty Tower.

    HMS Illustrious, the last of the Invincible class light aircraft carriers, about to be decomissioned; HMS Victory, First rate of 104 guns and the oldest serving vessel in the Royal Navy; and HMS Diamond, one of the newest vessels - she is a Daring class air defence destroyer.

    Looks good, hardly a cloud in sight. Shouldn't it be overcast with a threat of heavy rain?

    Actually the weather we had in the UK was brilliant most of the time. We only had a rainy day in York, which worked in our favour as we had to take refuge in the pub which was the house where Guy Fawkes was born. The other day it rained was when we were leaving London, which was okay because we were driving. The rest of the month, it would drizzle, (or mizzle as was the case in Looe), that would stop when we wanted to get out to see something.
