Double Bingo! As someone who doesn't really fit any particular political cracker jack box label, I also find the Greedy Qld Perverts to have proven themselves a couple dozen times over unwilling to compromise/cooperate for the greater good of the country. Not only has that ship sailed, it was later mothballed, then drydocked, then dismantled for recycling...

If you want to see Republicans talking serious bipartisan cooperation, the best means of doing so will be to remove their Party from power.

Sane Republicans don't make it to the Senate.

Part of the problem - the phrase "I would like to see republicans stand up", in my mind, means they need to toss out the knuckleheads that have little to say apart from "cut taxes for the upper class" or "Corey Booker's going to move inner-city people out to destroy your suburbs, now let's hear from some white guy who ran out and sprayed bullets into a black family's car as they were fixing a flat tire across from his house" - style white grievance. Which means they've done net to nothing useful for their own voters, or any large group, for the past...12 years or so.

The vast majority of Trumpsters are blue collar workers with no more ambition than drinking Bud's on a Friday night while watching Nascar. They aren't seeking wealth.
I was talking about Republican Senators.

I have no understanding of a person that admires Trump. To me Trump is a very ignorant incompetent despicable creature.

He does tell a lot of lies about the alleged "great" things he has done.

He went into many States and said he brought a car plant to the State to his crowds. He didn't. There was no plant.
