    I caught the end of a solar pillar by chance one evening. It was featured on Universe Today



    It was just a coincidence that the contrail made an odd hockey-stick effect.

    I was out doing wildlife photography today and saw one of these too.

    These taken at my camera's widest angle.

    I've been stewing over another photo that I took about 30 minutes before I took the 22 Degree photos above.

    This airliner. I don't recall ever seeing contrails form across the entire length of the wings like the photo below.

    Are the two related? Some moisture in the air that create both?
